Mary-Katherine Smith is the founder and owner of RiverSmith Vacation Get-Aways and the Broker-In-Charge of RiverSmith Real Estate. A lifelong Carolina coast advocate, she built the company around a simple belief: that a great stay begins with a great host. Over the years she has grown the RiverSmith portfolio into a curated collection of oceanfront, pet-friendly, and mountain retreat properties — each one hand-selected, thoughtfully designed, and personally overseen. Mary-Katherine leads every aspect of the business with a sharp eye for coastal investment, a deep commitment to guest experience, and the warmth of a family-run operation. Whether she is welcoming returning guests, mentoring her team, or negotiating the next standout property, her standard never changes: hospitality first, details always.
